Not via crafting, but robes will become more available with update.

I hope we don't see every idiot running around with a robe after the wipe, that would be horrible.   :-\

Unless you attach flamer fuel it would end up like a gigantic water bag  8)

How about the robe hermits do wear?
It should be craftable and easy to get for players, if only for RP purposes...
If it doesn't have all animations, you couldn't use all types of weapons with it.

Motto: Most wanted thing is that you cant get.
All of us wants robe, even it is shity armor, so i am totaly agaisnt crafting of this. Rather than this, find some robes in scavenge, .. .

I am, this robe should have no protection role - just stylish thing so not everyone is running around as bluesuit. There would be no point in using it in combat. As I said it is for RP purposes...

Those cultist robes just look too shiny and expensive to be cheaply available...

heres something interesting, this is something that x'il released just recently, it has all player anims, it could be added mayhaps if you guys really want a pretty sandrobe, as long as the devs decide to implement it, or it could alternatively be used to in the (mudzyn) plugin to replace the standard leather jacket
I think it looks purrdy.

http://www.nma-fallout.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50693&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=940
it could be used as a craftable item in any case which would preserve the current state of extravagance of the  (I gotta say ugly, yes ugly) pukepurple robes and allowing for the little guy to get some sort of clothing options...

and lexx has apparently assimilated the robe for himself as well, so we know a dev has it on his hard drive

and about the CAMK2, theres something assimilable there as well for it, just 2 frames, but still, they look nice...

Awesome! The sand robe should be cheaply available in game.

Hmm, what do you think about replacing the default player skin by this robe, and making bluesuits rare and desired?
I guess lot of people would be against because of how the word "bluesuit" has grown on us, but it would make more sense - not everyone should be from vault 13...

As a standard skin - no. You couldnt even tell whos male or female then.
But I am all for replacing the purple robes with the
desert robe. After update robes will be much easier to get.
