DO NOT DO IT, its currently a waste as it doesnt have any hq ores and a ridiculous price.

Better save the money and buy a vault later (the 500k base).
It has a mine for normal mats too, which does not exhaust.

Btw, why is it so ridicolously overpriced, then? Test phase?

I bought one, btw, for the sake of testing.

As for advantages:
- It's a nice additional location to a tent.
- It's close to Redding and a good mining outpost for HQ raids.
- It has a water pump and a shack with a table.
- You could watch slaves doing the whole mining for you, albeit very short - very atmospheric slaver experience.
- It's safe to mine without being pickpocketed.
- It's a good PvP training ground. You can also run around the mine, making ridicolous noises.

Disadvantages:

- Can't invite anyone
- Ordinary limited small amount of ore, with total worth of max. 60K caps, by the total cost of 75K, so 15K economical loss.
- Most mapping effort was spent on insides. The look outside is somewhat a tristesse. Should i map it better?
- Quite in unguarded terrain, but that's all.

Could you post pics of it all? It would be nice if the wiki page could be updated.

I wish I could buy mines, or craft them.

That would be awesome.

It would be awesome if you could have a random/rare event where you can encounter a Mine and keep it on Worldmap and either suck it dry or sell it to someone else....  epic...

He's talking about the other kind of mine, the more explosive kind.

But yeah, actually, having a quest to get a mine sounds pretty good, if someone is willing to take the time to come up with it:

Like, you encounter an abandoned mine, with little resources left (would be a pretty rare encounter, but not too rare). There is a barely-functioning computer that will break once __ amount of people are able to see the mine with you. You have to fight off the critters that inhabited the mine to obtain it, or convince the raiders in the area to leave (either by force or by speech/money)
