Wait...does that mean for example that my beloved sniper rifle cant be crafted anymore?

Yesterday i heard in IRC something about "extended craftingbench"
Maybe sniper needs that after update and other high tier guns/armors too.

You'll still be able to craft it, you'll just need Profession [2] + Sniper Rifle Blueprints (Which will be available via a super-cool-awesome quest! written by our new dialogue fellows)

Yes, it will also only be "craftable" in certain locations, like most level 2+ stuff.

As much as i like the idea one thing comes to my mind when i read this. Gangs camping those locations thus making it impossible for Loners to craft such items. I really hope you think those changes through. Also, regarding the blueprints...is it meant to be used like the books now? Meaning you will need the blueprint with you (which would make it even more impossible for loners because dying at the location would also result in loosing the blueprint) to craft the item or will you "learn" how to craft it in the mentioned quest?

And in addition, i LOVE! Ravenous Rats idea regarding repair-skill. Really this should somehow be implemented. The idea behind this sounds simple and reasonable. With a low repair skill you can still do it but you would mabye a)waste or b) use a lot of junk which needs to be gathered. So increasing the skill will makes it cheaper and faster to repair your equipment.  Maybe add the restriction that only a small gunsmith can repair small guns, only an armorer can repair armors and so on. This is really a great suggestion @Ravenous Rat and its also improving the gameplay and i hope Devs will think about this change because its brilliant.

It will be something you can't lose.

As for the workbenches, there will [probably] be fixed location(s) in the world where anyone can turn up, workbenches of varying levels in "domination" mode [this is where small - equal sized - groups battle for control of a facility] or faction scenario [where members of NPC factions come together, again in equal sized groups (possibly using faction issued equipment too) and fight for control of a facility].

So you can either chance it in an open venue - or control it with your gang, get together with a few friends and fight other small groups for access to these facilities or ensure your chosen NPC faction wins control of their particular facility.
