Any time. But first we have to think of how to encourage players not to produce everything by themselves and actually start wanting to buy stuff from other players.

LOL. Your anarchist views would ruin player-driven economy! And yes theres a reason to buy stuff - youre too lazy to do it (relog counts) yourself - you buy it

i played ultima online and i thought about sugesting the same to this game.. but i had  some concerns..

other games like ultima have gold/cash coming from almost anywhere, if u wanted to get a certain type of armor/weapon/item u had to go to player vendors and buy them

fonline is not the case... money is pretty rare and most trades are done by items rather than cash

any thoughts?

Excuse me? How would players not being able to make everything by themselves RUIN the economy? From my point of view if one person couldn't produce everything he'd pretty much have to rely on doing bussiness with others if he wanted stuf he couldn't make.

Well, that surely is a valid argument avv. But keep in mind that players buy/sell all sorts of equipment in the trade section so i conclude that not everyone is capable of crafting everything. Just think about loners for example (even if they might be a rare species) or think about people who play in a gang but need something specific fast because their gangmember who could craft it is not online.
