no below junktown.

Besides all squares around NCR (and especially near mine), the tiles between Junktown and Hub are THE WORST places to stay in turn based. So it's your own fault, sorry. If you are stuck in area with one of the highest number of PKs hunting bluesuits, don't complain if you get killed.

I address this issue. No matter how good survivalist you are there's nothing you can do if someone just happens to spawn in your encounter right next to you. I've died that way multiple times and lost astronomical ammounts of stuff. There's no real good advice except to move in a group of 8 powerbuilt friends and that's quite over the top advice. Real time isn't much better because it has its dangers too. All I can say that this is really bad feature and one reason I decided to retire from this wipe.

I got one questoion you shot first ?

The players are in my anti PK gang so if this is true they are out

sory for my english

Lol what a surprise  :D

The only times I've had someone enter my encounter when leveling were when hunting mutated molerats -- and rarely would someone try to kill me. I usually level my chars around modoc, VC, and in the desert. I don't go around NCR unless I'm bored. And a bored Pillory is a dangerous Pillory.

Try to make BG crafter and make 5mm AP ammo , i was crafting it for some players , for one day i made 3000 5mm ammo and then i sold it for 42 000 caps , and earn some exps . So if you want to make base just make about 2000 5mm AP ammo then sold it for 28 000 caps and you can have cave , so then it will be lot easier to make ammo and earn exps.

i definitely DID NOT shoot first.  In fact, I didn't even get a turn.  Before I even had a chance to run or do aNYTHING, dead.  And I have awareness, so I could see they each had close to 200 hp (198 or so) and were wearing metal armor.

I hate PK'ers like them

Great advice.  How are players suppose to know that?  Where in the game or wiki does it say to not be turn based aorund there?

It's common sense. If a city has a large number of players that go to it, there are going to be a large number of players traveling the world near the town, too.

You're missing the point.  Is this common sense to a GM or you... but not for NEW players.

No, common sense means common sense, as in you don't need experience to know it. Thinking logically, if there is a congested area in one place, people have to move to get to that congested area, and by moving they will move past where you are. The only thing that a new player might not know is that other players can encounter you anywhere, but that wasn't what I was responding about.

Sometimes happen to me strange things in TB. I came to eco and was turn some BG man, he shoot to me 2 times then some critters move to him and he can again shoot to me . What is that ???

The community doesnt give a shit, the GMs dont give a shit and the developers sure as hell dont give two shits how "unfair" the game "seems to be". Make a second gaurded town near the center of the map (to ease the "congestion" in NCR?) I dont know, theres so many suggestions that get shut down or dont matter cause they wouldnt help solve the many problems with game. its not player friendly in the least sense. when you start the game you get shit worthless items.death is a click away cause you only get so much health and just like that all your stuff is gone and you gotta go run around to get it all back before you can make another attempt at trying to kill something. Even what im saying right now has probably been said before I'm sure, has anything changed? Yes actually,i stopped playing lol.

Tell me Hertz are you talking to yourself here? There are players from all aspects of the game here, dev's gms, experienced players and helpful people trying to help you out here.

Here is a quick way in gaining a tent in 1hr and 30mins.
1) Go to any safe city with unloading box quest. In this case the hub. Unload 10 boxes and gain 200caps.
2) Open a bank account for 100 caps and deposit the other 100.
3) Do this 5 more times to get 1100 caps. (15min cooldown to unload boxes)
4) Request on the trading section of the forums for 10 brahmin hides for about x>1000caps, if you're nice they can meet you at your destination of choice.
5) Build your tent!

Tips:
-You have to ask yourself what you're going to need, lets say you're going hunting. Only bring the things needed, never bring anything you dont need for the task. Ex. When mining i always only bring a hammer. Thats it, i go unarmored.
-Always check if someone is riding with you before you go into your tent, there are evil bastards like that out there.

Also coming on the forums to whine is a big no no, A better approach would be to ask for help.

The best prof in terms of time-money ratio is probably Armorer 3, because people pay top dollar for Brotherhood Armor. The factions are fairly easy to get into, and then all you need are HQ ore and minerals, which is pretty easy at the Gecko mines. I've mined hundreds of HQ minerals and ores there, and have only been PK'd once.

Edit: @Ponce, the caravan unloading quest has a much longer cooldown than 15 minutes now. I don't know if it's a bug or intentional, or if it was a fluke, but I tried it when I was new, and half an hour later I still couldn't get the quest again.

Ill make sure to check out the cooldown for unloading the boxes and fix the wiki if thats the case.

I know what you mean about the Hub and Junktown passageway. I got pk'ed there 3 times before i realised to NEVER go b/w the squares of both of those cities.

You have to weigh your options, is it worth the time to take the longer passageway so pvp encounters remain low or take the risk and go for the fastests way.
One last thing, the easiest and shortest route will be used by most people, when im out in the wastelands i try to take new paths so to speak.
