Can only make it mine hq in Gecko mine afaik.

when around normal mats you just speak to slave in dialogue about mining some minerals.

And since he didn't read the whole question, they also can only mine normal materials in NCR atm.  As far as guarded mines go.  Also should you take them to NCR as well as Gecko don't leave them alone too long, or at all.

Ummmm, I'm sure he's not retarded enough to need you to tell him which mine is which and which are and aren't gaurded considering how long he has played.

This is interesting, I saw some player mining Hq minerals in Broken Hills with his slave... (I saw the animation like when you steal or FA somebody)

And obviously slave can be stolen from. Is it possible to steal 50 kgs of iron ore in one go? Probably should be harder

WELL....  if you manage to find a "normal" not hq mineral deposit there then yes, i guess it is posibly for a slave to mine hq in BH but it will also mine, iron and mineral (normal).  so unless u have like 3+ slaves the risk isnt really worth the time consumed.

For realy good thieves yes its possible but rarely attempted.

My thief build has 67 carry weight and can steal 22 minerals or 19 ores in 1 attempt.
It does have the pickpocket perk and has 300 steal.

Not sure, but I think not.
PE makes it easier to spot a thief stealing.
Still even when a thief failed, they might have taken something.
