If so I guess thats your opinion, but I still stand by my modified version of his suggestion.

Surf:
Giving basically "free" stuff away isn't really the way to go, micheal.
Getting higher tier stuff in PvE will fuck up the crafting system even more, even if those items are detoriated.

Sorry Michael, I meant that ideally we'd be getting xp and gear from quests. Encounters would be a very, very minor part of the game.

i'd agree with that, and I'd also agree with introducin shit like LAmk2 'nd CLJs as a rare drop to human encounters, like raiders and slavers (the mid-low level human encounters)

Basically "free" stuff wtf?  You gotta kill em to get this shit remember?  And VC caravans are like 10 of those bastards at a time, if getting ONE CA for killing all of them isn't balanced then nothing is.  Crazies have been known to kill powerbuilds when they're alone, and if we give them Kahn Raiders maybe some mid-tier armor then isn't such infamously powerful npcs worth the effort then, unlike now?
