Big Gun Human mercs need metal armor.

Don't forget about those powerbuilds on jet buffout psycho the likes who can kill your mercs instantly, and is very likely to happen before you actually start profiting.

No reason to change something which actually works pretty good (and yeh, we tested it) to something overpowered.
So yes, make the mercs even more strong. :)  ::)

You'd have to be pretty stupid to buy that merc when the metal mercs can use bg.

As said, its good at it is. With the implementation of the 2.5 critters, everyone will be able to hold every weapon (which will cause more imbalance). :)

Giving normal HUMAN big gun mercs won't overpower anything at all, you can only effectively use ONE at a time without clusterfuck friendly fire so its not like anyone is gonna go up in BH with 5 metal avenger mercs because it would be of a waste.
