[Interface] Upgraded bullet indicator (very low)
« on: July 08, 2010, 07:23:41 pm »

One thing i thought of some time ago:
You all know you can choose how to display the amount of ammo left in your gun
- either with that green bar or with numbers in the top-left corner of the slot window. Or both.
Same applies for the weapon's deterioration.

Now here comes my suggestion:

While hunting, i noticed that it's a little annoying having to open the inventory to check the
amount of spare rounds left. Maybe I am a little paranoid here but I find it a good idea to have the game
check your inventory and have it indicate the total ammunition for the present gun next to the rounds
left in the gun, separated by a slash (/).

What do you think about it?

I think that bullet left in magazine should go. I mean since when you are exactly aware of how much ammo you have left inside your gun during mid gun fight.

Shown ammount of ammo left should be calculated in whereabouts like 1-4 ammo left / 3-6 ammo left. etc.   Awareness could maximize precision :P..

oh and yeah its pretty realistic that you have to look inside your bag to check how much spare ammo you have left. I mean we don't want another quake... Or do we?

ps. Knowing how much ammo your opponent has inside his gun without seeing when he reload is pretty ridicolous too

Clicking on yourself requires you to hold down and scroll down once then read the log.

With this suggestion implemented you can just take a quick peek and know how much you got left.

If there was a poll I'd vote +1.

dude it's not about striking one key.
If you don't get the point don't troll.

->It's about having to hit 'i' and scroll down/mark the rounds everytime you are not sure if it's time to get more ammo while hunting
->It's about saving time and getting rid of something (even if only of minor interest) annoying while playing

If you don't hunt that's fine with me but there's enough people who could benefit
from such an implementation.

You really seem to like trying to talk down others' ideas, huh?
