I noticed that one of the big interest for TC could be the ability to control the mining site as well. It's a very important place for ressources.
You should be able to add at the entrance of the mine a NPC, and, through dialog, tell to the miner to give a part of their crafting mat in exchange of some protection. So:
-When you control a town linked to a mine, you would have a new option with the mayor, for "rule the mine". He have the choice of percentage of gathering take (if the miner have in his inventory 4 IronHQ, it's equal to 28 min gathering, if the gang choose to take 10%, it will take the min, 1 iron. If it's 50%, it will be 2 Iron)
-It would add a special NPC at the entrance of the mine, and some guards inside
-When the miner accept to exchange some material for his protection, he can't get out without give it to the NPC.
-The guards inside would protect him against other players attacks. If he attack an unprotected player, guards don't help him. If he attack another protected player, guards help the other.
-If the miner is attacked by the member of the gang, guards don't move, but he don't have to pay when getting out.
-Guards are the same as militia and have same price/number, but without bursting/explosive weapons
-Gained materials by the gang would directly go inside the locker of the town which give reward.
