Does having low str cause critical fails?

well i have 95% chance to hit and 10 luck so what gives? Also my guns have all been 0% det since I crafted them. According to the tables I have on critical misses I'm getting effect 0 and 1.

It's not STR then, because laser pistol requires 3 STR... you don't even need weapon handling, so it's cursed laser pistol. I have 1/2 of my shots missed to molerats eyes with 95% accuracy with laser pistol, but these are just misses, not critical misses, it's so annoying so I stopped to play EW ^_^ btw I had 3 ST and 10 LK too.

Anyway what you said is really impossible logically, so it's "bad real life luck", there's no any other explanation...

That's what bothers me about it, it shouldn't be happening but it is. I know I meet the requirements but maybe there's some line of code in there where if your str is under a certain value you have a higher chance to crit fail.
