Does FOnline not already have its own choice/consequence system?

Yes, players make up for this system alone.
I would like to see some npc role but yeah pretty much.
Its 50/50.
No, we need a full on npc system for this.
Eh sorta but I would prefer npcs.

So thats the question.

Does FOnline need a karma system where every action has a consequence Literally? e.g. NPCs special encountering you to kill you for your actions etc...

Or is this already well implemented enough due to mechanics and players?

Discuss.

There couldn't be serious consequences depending on your action when you just create the next alt and do shit again.

That works on both the npc and player choice/consequence

because chances are unless you tell players they won't recognize you.
And of course rep is 0 with all factions.

BUT you have to regrind your char n shit but I guess thats not exactly "Hard" :P.

I dont understand at all. You would like harsher penalties for killing caravans? or you dont want them?

Its good as it is now either the case. The thing I dont like about the karma is the GENERAL KARMA like it was in F2, ok they're factions, but some factions should trade with you or demand the respective GENERAL KARMA lvl for you to join and automatically dismiss you if you have karma lower (like 1000 for good ones) or higher (than -1000) for bad ones :)

This is not Fallout 3 crap here where every NPC magically "knows" your Karma. ;)
Karma just reflects your overall actions you did and how you behave in general in the wastes. It doesn't affect NPC Reaction.

lols but it was even in F2, where you were killed by caravans if you were evil... and if you had high enough you could trade with them....

Hm. Never encountered that. But then again, it's been awhile since I played FO2 ( I prefer FO1).
I stand corrected then.

Bah...  I would rather you not actually have 'direct' consequences for your action.

Good point but there should be something more than what we have atm I suppose.  Its not really well-implemented, mostly due to the Bounty system being fucked.

Very true.  Bounty could fix some problems.
But hey, in the real world, the bad guys prosper and the good guys suffer.
We like to think the bad guy will get his in the end, but the truth is that it isn't always that way.

And FOnline reflects that.  Which I like.  It's got a more 'human' approach if you get me.
It's so gritty, raw, and real.

Every bounty hunter system is fucked, regardless if its NPC controlled or player controlled. You can always get around it with using alternative characters. We got a shitload of ideas for FOnline, but most of 'em have been dropped, due to the possibilitie to abuse them with alts.
