I regret that C4 is not available since a long time. There were many tactics to use it in the battles (planting it in the door of the building or even in your inventory so in case you die, your buddy detonates the dude that came to loot you and so on)

Either the XXpert3 items get nerfed or there will be other recipes, like pipebombs or door rigs.

please bring back demo 3!! C4 is super legit and no one woukd ever dare to use it for griefing (and if they did so what, it's all fun and games) besides it's really awesome to blow up gangbangers in those silly town disputes

Actually, a remote charge would make less use for griefers, if the range were limited and the handler would be spotted globally on the map as attacker by guards.

If the crafting requirements were also strewn along the map, like HQ minerals, chemical components and radio parts, it would also be a pain in the ass to craft for a spontaneous griefer.

As for human warheads, the damage by the bomb from the inventory should be reduced, so the bomber will actually have to plant and hide his charge with a delay, so he wouldn't give it to his teammate to drop it at your feet at the bazaar or drop it at some trader.

There should be two kind of items - explosives and ARMED explosives, so you at least would have a chance to quickly discard it.
Of course, the discarded bomb and the man with a switch should be quickly spotted by the guards.

So, it would be a short range weapon shooting through walls with a fixed target - the handler would have to hide himself well in PvP and take some time to rig up his charge - so it will be also a trap, requiring presence of the handler.

Also, the trap could be spotted, so it would make sense to invest some skillpoints in Traps for other players.

I suggest make it PE involved....  But then everyone would prolly be able to notice BUT would they bother to look? .

I have used the discussed tactic of setting up "traps" with c4. And it was quite effective and well down right unexpected. As a side note, by reducing the dmg of bombs detonated from the inventory would just be a cruel limitation on a fews favourite pass time. BRING BACK C4

As much as I hate you Sailor i agree BRING BACK C4!
