I just consider those "special encounters" because of how hard it is to find those bastards.....

1 out of ever 30 cave encounters has cannibals or mercenaries in them so I figured they were special.

I know it just says Ammunition but when I look at it in inventory it says 2mm EC.

It was in a fucking cave that I at first thought was empty and debated about leaving before i wasted my time but pressed on, found his body, and the ammo.

Basically the second one and no i did a whole scan of the cave, thats all I found.   No gun..... .which doesn't make any sense.

i know someone that found a solar scorcher once, i love looking at the mercs in the northern towns, apparently they all find special encounters. ive seen mercs with pulse pistols and bozars and gauss rifles.

I found my first special encounter also, dont have screenie yet but soon. Got an gauss pistol, 26 ammo for it, gatling laser , 250 mfc , metal armor , combat leather
jacket, some mysterious key i couldnt find anything to fit it in, super stims , random foods and nuka cola and so on.
Was an old military bunker, so now im a happy owner of an gauss pistol.

PS. i got 1LK and 92% outdoors.

Pff 26 ammo, haha joke encounter, if there was a possibility to get 2mm ammo without special encounters (a quest, which requires a finding that special encounter atleast once by this character) then gauss pistols could be usable, because alot people have gauss pistols, but they can't use it...

I found the Special Encounter 'Hidden Bomb Shelter' today.

Items Obtained:
- 1 x Gattling Laser + 250 x Micro Fusion Cells
- 1 x Metal Armor MK II
- 1 x Leather Combat Armor

And various other lame items like Fruit and Nuka Cola.

Ohh yeah it was the bomb shelter not the military bunker. Remembered the name wrong.
Did you see the small lockers on wall tho, near the regular lockers ? thats where i got gauss pistol from.

Those were initially hard to see but there was total of 4 lockers in that room, at first i only opened 2 but then
decided to go through the place few more times.

No Gauss Pistol for you You should have explored the shelter a bit more.

Isn't a gatling laser an Enclave former weapon? I have seen many Enclave patrols running around with those beasts, never killed them tho, are they really special ecnounter only item?

Not a special encounter imo, but at least a little bit special ;p , searched the car, found nothing.

yeah, i meet that car all the time when i'm farming for 10mm ammo and smgs near adytum, no luck in finding anything in it though...
