Even though I am too a bit disappointed because I normally thought you are really trying to behave like the "good guys" not shooting people on sight etc. , I have to say:

Give 'em a break. This is one single case, one single guy got shot, even though the chatlog looks pretty bad.
But that doesn't mean this people behave like this everytime. I can imagine, that being "anti pk" can make one paranoid about other people, sometimes you shoot the people even if they were innocent. Shit happens. And one can't judge over the whole gang just because 1-2 people behave like this. It's already hard enough trying to help the people against some mindless PK apes, so as said: give 'em a break and don't push the atleast a bit better guys into a corner.


(and before someone asks, no, I am not a "friend" of TTTLA, just a normal observer. I don't know a single guy from them personal nor do I try to plan this.)

There is a thing that people don't seem to understand :

We are called Anti-PK. What does that mean ? That we don't agree with the behavior of player killers. We don"t bloody kill on sight every people we encounter in the waste to have their stuff or just for fun. But that doesn't mean that we are "PK killers". We don't owe anything to other players. If they come in BH and don't speak to us so we won't bother them (and they should be happy of that because they won't encounter much teams doing that).

In every team there is different personalities. Lunoi is a bit susceptible and when this guy (TheBob/Mr Nice) pushed him (with push command) then Lunoi killed him. If this guy didn't want problems then he should have not do that and just go anywhere else.

People testing us like that are always PKs that want to tarnish our reputation. The fact is that Lunoi were right because TheBob is a PK so he killed a PK and not an innocent wastelander.

I gotta admit, if you want to be a genuine good guy you gotta expect collateral damage, you can never be 100% sure, who is who really, but if you start messing with the guards they do have a right to shoot you, don't go about stealing from, shoving, or punching them, there's a bloody code of conduct, if you don't follow it, you deserve to be flattened by a steamroller an undefined number of times, I gotta stand along the TTTLA, they did tell you to leave em alone, if you didn't choose to listen to them they had every right to shoot you, it's true "old west" justice served on a platter of LSW.

TTTLA are doing great job... Broken Hills are often safe for everyone, so many crafters is coming there to mine HQ resources without fear of being bursted by some PKs, who are just bored and camping the mines...

-This was a new character (lvl 1) no chance there was recognition of it being related to myself or any other 'PK'
-Time between warning, and killshot - 3 seconds. Ample warning indeed.
- Mr. Nice appeared to be nothing more than random new player who happens upon broken hills , asking some locals for direction.

I made many operations as player and looked even more as GM. Never saw such organisation. They are really anti-pks, and most of them are doing their best to prevent accidents, help and protect beginners and, in fact, every wastelander who isnt involved into PKing. That is almost impossible to avoid mistakes, yeah, but they do their best. And in a game which is not already well equiped to play in such conditions, the only thing I wanna say to people that doubt of their behaviour and come to cry about their way of playing, is try it yourself to see how hard it is, or shut the fuck up.

Guys, you should open a thread to gather players thanks, or make screens or whatever, but with only whiners against you, others may think you are perverted and liars. But for every whiner, there are two players that thank you. For me, that's sufficent and relevent.

To complete Pozzo's post, yeah, we don't spend all of our time in chasing every outlaw on every map, especially when we're guarding or taking a town.
Sometimes we patrol in unguarded areas like New Reno, Gecko mine,...
But we have too much work in Broken Hills to take care of all the Wasteland. Big Gangs and lonely raiders assault this town everyday, all the time, continuously.... It's a pain to defend it.

Good idea but we are not like our president, we don't do that for celebrity (we just want to be famous for our ennemies ) and we don't expect gratitude. I use to do some actions to help noobs that people don't see : for example 1 hour ago I sold at the general store of BH some refined uranium ore for just 1 caps per 1 uranium. And this just to allow other players to buy it for cheap price (But now that I have told that I guess that bad guys will check the store every hour to buy this uranium ).
We choose Broken Hills because the town is near NCR and it is easier to encounter and help new players.

But Shangalar I'm not sure that as you said "But for every whiner, there are two players that thank you. " When we help people they just ignore us (when they are not trying to test our behavior). When we don't help people they insult us because we don't help.
You know that this game is a showcase of mankind stupidity and now I understand why Lexx wants to give up the job !

Hmm sometimes when I guarded a town I didn't shoot anyone not-green on my list, because guarding a town is usually boring and people who come across sometimes have something more or less interesting to say. In fact, usually I shoot only those who just instead of saying "Hello" are just running around like mad brahmins (no offense VSB  ) or don't want to cooperate. Also, I help them with doing a quest if I have my own business in it (for example, quests with Metzger or sth), well, sometimes they want to cheat me, so they are moved to respawn in a matter of seconds. Hmmm wait... so, I'm antiPK? Can I join?

Well, most of the time VSB is doing good job as antiPK, but you guys... have just to try harder.

Though I have to admit that when I was looking for a respawn closer to Klamath, on my new 1 lvl char with "Kilgore" in its name, and I entered BH knowing that it would be a good way to travel around the world map, you didn't kill me in first 30 seconds. yeah I was surprised, indeed.

In fact we don't like the name of Anti-PK but we use it for more clarity (but it doesn't seem to work in this way)
We don't all play the same way in our team. I try to help people coming in BH by giving informations or I give stuff or uranium. But I don't like tu hunt PKs everytime because this is endless job. I prefer to meet people and see life in the town. Some of my mates just don't care about helping other players, they just want to do a lot of PvP.
I think this is the same thing in your team. You play as a tough wastelander and I sometimes saw MSH helping noobs in NCR. But sometimes you come in towns to raid and kill and we don't do that so in our point of view you are the bad guys But this is just a game and if there were not bad guys the game would be boring. We don't blame people for killing other people because this is the game but we don't like when gangs kill every beginner in the wastes because that means that this beginner may quit the game forever.
Play as raiders ok but some stupid players just want to disgust other people to play on FOnline.
