Oil rig base/quest idea
« on: June 06, 2010, 08:29:49 am »

oil rig base complete with vertibird, you get it by doing a quest where you have to kill every npc at enclave, kill the head guy downstairs and get the vertibird key from his body. Using this on the vertibird will transport you to the offshore platform with your party with no means of return or reinforcement. From here you will have to kill the enclave inside and eventually reach the computer and use science on the terminal to reprogram the defenses and make it yours. At this point the terminal will prompt you to input your faction name, this will override the party member's current alliance. The vertibird will just be a static object that can be used to instantly transfer from the base to a landing strip on shore where a similar vertibird is sitting on a landing spot. It will just serve as a main entrance essentially. It should be hard enough that it will take 10 people to do.

Quest: kill the fuck everyone, get exclusively for yourself a strongest base in the game AND a vertibird.

Ridicolous.

There should'nt be any masacre with Enclave - i've got other idea - people from Enclave - as npc and players can get into Oil rig from Navarro if they got enough access (they must have high rank or much reputation - like killing BoS members or others) And there they can get access to the MFC machine (there wouldn't be much alts cuz killing BoS i not so Easy ang getting like 1500 rep.

He mean TC for Oil Rig, but Enclave soldiers instead of militia?
Atleast it'll be fair fight ^_^, I mean 10 people use vertbird for assault and that's all, without fast reloggers who sitting on world map on town waiting till his clone die to come and continue fight. Because TC now = who has more alts.

Now that's a good idea - you will have to spend effort for the NPC faction and gain ranks, if you want to trade a better gear or craft hi-tech stuff.

We need more loyal Enclave soldiers. (e.g. repeatable patrol/raid quests,)

the vertibird isn't a real vehicle, just a door.

If devs need quests ideas, they will ask players or open a thread dedicated to this. For now, it is not really useful.
