I don't know if this is a feature or a bug, it happens in Necropolis underground, where I am forced to make real-time combat (which I totally suck at) with a bunch of mice and molerats. When any of those critters saw me, I'm just stuck at the place and forced to fight (and eventually killed) there. OK, I know if I'd be more prepared, I could survive that fight. But my point is, the usage of ladder shouldn't be prevented by some buggy combat mechanics.

I believe ladders and stairs work just like enter/exit grids, no bugs here. If you are attacked, the battle countdown will start and you will be tagged in the zone.

u quess not, it could be bug, for example in turn based mode in city ruins encounter where is stairs then you can go up without problem, in real time too, so in my opinion its bug or wrong attributes of ladder

TB and RT has no connection, it's like 2 different games in one with different rules. You can't change map location during combat mode at RT, but you can do that in TB. So, stairs is changing location...

It's possible with exit grids. Why not ladders?

Anyway, it just doesn't seem logical to me. I'm using my APs legitimately, it doesn't seem like an abusable thing either, so?

Man, when you are in combat mode (it means the fight has been engaged by you or your enemy), on a real time map, you have to wait for the end of the combat cooldown to be able to leave this map. And this applies for the ladders, the elevators...
So you have to run 'til the end of the cooldown to avoid the fight, if you want to escape.

Urban encounter, with only one exit grid at North and a building with few rooms. There's stairs inside building on other map like 2nd floor.

Yes, and this map is freaking awesome ;p I would totally love have some PvP in a map like that, maybe little bigger (when you are at the second floor you can still see/shot people by the windows).

It's too bad the engine has a 2d environment so multiple levels are impossible on the same map.
