loss of karma for blocking doors was introduced because too many people were blocking doorway to pk and annoy players. So get used to it.

Terrible post.

People who are there to annoy others arnt going to be sticking around anyways.. What do they care about a towns reputation? They are just getting their last kicks out of others misery.. so who loses??? The person who fucking lags out in front of a door thats who. Whether i have to "get used to it" or not its terrible fucking decision on every level.

If its just some (still not very thought out) short term solution ok. But otherwise its game breaking. There are literally a quadrillion (and 4) better ways to do this heres one:
Make players in guarded towns standing in doorways physically transparent to other players (but not bullets ;) ).. What difference does it make? In fact it would just make crowded towns more manageable as a whole.
"Unrealistic?" We are talking about Getting shot and losing reputation due to standing in a door here...

Maybe thats not easy to implement due to code but seriously even just allowing the person to be shot and removing the reputation penalty would be loads better

bikkebakke:
What about forced push? I'v seen ghoul santa using it at the cristmas event. If you stand in the door for longer than 3 sec or something you get pushed away automaticly.

DakaSha:
That would be the "best" and most realistic. Its also the way things are handled in original fallout. I didnt mention it because it seems it could be a bit more difficult and possibly cause new problems (but yeah it it would be implemented well then it would be cool)
