and thats my point why should we go out of way just to make another char just to make guns (waste of time).

Crafting is one of best parts in game. I can't imagine how can i play without any crafter bacause one bullet 10 mm will be a problem for me. In my combat char i can make many 10 mm pistols but for ammo i need a science. When i have crafter i can create combat char.

Would be another reason to make alts. If you deny a player who has only 1 char (combat only most-likely in this situation) will just end up in him needing to another character, which some people wouldn't like.

a) to have +20% better stats than farmed ones

b) items crafted should be "soulbound" - cannot be used by another player

Right now I see no reason to craft at all if you just go farm them and bring a couple of them each encounter...

Well there are two reaosn for craft:

1. To get 0% det items
2. Only way for Crafters to get Caps (noone will buy ur 70% det. looted stuff)

The main use of crafting is for ammo, drugs, and high tier weapons and armor.

Everything else can be farmed fairly easily.

Currently with interest, interest alts should be showing up soon. so trading for caps isn't quite as needed now.

You cannot get items with 0 breaks from looting encounters. ( you get 4-8 breaks ), so why not just make increased break count alter item statistics?

It's a multiplayer game after all, not a multialt game.

Limiting or boosting crafting will have the same effect - more alts.

A crafter character should sell crafted items to OTHER players and doing so should give MORE BENEFITS then giving these items to ones combat alt.

Moving items to another character should be banable, but I won't suggest that, players are not ready to play fair (imho using alts== idkfa)

Repairing broken stuff is around 10 to 15 times easier and faster.

I have never crafted any p90, sniper rifle or jackhammer. Neither CA or BA but I had lot of them. Simple as that, loot something and trade with gunrunners or some other trader. Even if it's broken You can have it full functional in 3-4 minutes.

Alting can easily stopped, but GM/Devs don't even try to stop that.
that will be always sin of FOnline 2238 and that's why i always hate 2238, but i still want play.

lol but i suggest if your repair is high enough to repair items (especially the tier 3 stuff) u are a crafter dont u? with a comabat build u cant repair a shit, thats a fact. So if u can repair stuff u can craft it aswell. and like i sayed noone will buy det. stuff which has seen a few repairs.

Actually only armor crafter needs 180% repair which is fairly safe value (using tool). Big and small guns needs only 120% of repair which is actually not enough to do job done.

PS. I have turn-based combat build. It is not PvP but a perfect hybrid (for me at least). It can easily loot stuff repair it and sell with profit.

Because getting 0 det items from crafting is not that important as their 0 breaks count - however currently higher break count only increases deteoritation rate (and decreases sell price), not anything else, so if 0 breaks items have some more useful advantage crafting would make more sense.

Just theoreticly, if say Sniper Rifle on 8 breaks ( 10 is beyond repair ) had say only 45y range, crafting that rifle would be preferable from looting it randomly.
