I am from an anti pk faction and we are about to buy a bigger faction base. One of our members was thinking about something very similar to you. When we move we were gonna let him keep the cave to help new guys learn the game. If you are interested in combining efforts we will donate our cave to the cause, along with a bunch of guns, ammo and maybe even caps. There are not enough decent people in the wastes, but if we help out new people, maybe they will end up decent instead of a jaded pker.

I totally agree with this. Me and bob have already talked about an alliance of sorts but after reading several posts about similar things, i think it may be worth while to create a forum or some sort of way for our gangs to keep in contact and plan how we can best aid new players and improve the quality of our mmo community. I can help new players with weapon too and escorts , protection , ect. My base is very near redding so once i have a good combat character built up i can also offer protection to members of all our gangs that wish to mine in redding

Hello.  The whole conversation seems a good idea to me.  Hell, getting PKed has kept me from integrating myself heavily.  And I am the one about to inherit a cave from Xan.  Let me know if there is anything I can do to help out.  Pretty much all I am good for is my 169% and rising Outdoorsman.

*Faction Update* I have got up a tent and a faction bank account, the account has about 23,000 caps in it right now. (max a member can withdraw is up to 2000 a  day)

Although i'll admit im training a Big Gunner char named:  TheCanOpener

I wanna get back at those pk's as well as help some newbies since I had such a hard time starting out as well, although yay me for charisma build i didn't need to work hard for long since mercs/slaves are teh basis of your combat abilities .

Note: I cannot actually "Join" the faction since I'm in Corosive's gang ( Slaver gang ) but I was wondering if I would be permitted allied?  ( We are not pk gang just slavers with a depot up in Den/Klamath ).  If anything we actually HATE pk's since they fuck us so much when we try to sell slaves at Den but I guess thats what NCR Vortis is for, its just so .. ugh.. long away, but anyways /end rant.

I'm a noobie looking for a group, I've recently actually remade my character after a few issues, and when I finally got to start doing anything, I went out got some stuff for basic crafting, and on my way back to town was killed. This happened about 5 times and gets annoying fast. I'm glad that there are some peolpe who aren't just complete PKers and I would like to join this faction, as much for the added protection of a group as well as hoping people who are just getting started too.
