So I have a player in my faction that had to leave the faction because she is a docter and needs to be in vc faction to be able to make anything.  This makes it so no factions can really have docter's in them. Was it planned that way? Are there any plans to put another medical terminal anywhere?  There is the machine for energy weapons available, so why not medical? Any thoughts?

This is a definite need of fixing.  But then again teh Washland is Harsh.

There is a second one in Sierra Army Depot. I know, it's unguarded, full of PKs, mad brahmins and evil Horrigans, but again, wasteland is harsh. Also, the generator is most likely offline, so take a mechanic with you.

You can have your good doctor as a member of the vc and a friend to your base:) The char will see the base location on the wm and be able to make chems. The only problem is the distance between your base and vc if you have a base somewhere south, but...wasteland is harsh ;D

We're talking about the base hidden and just north of new reno right? Yeah a group of friends and I spent an hour in that place trying to find the damn terminal. We hunted around online, and came to the conclusion that it is in the russian server, but not ours. This is a group of 4, hunting 30-60 minutes for it, and even checking the spot where a picture shows it to be (The black bar under the computer isn't in there for 2238, but was in the picture. Concluded that its simply not in 2238 or something


So unless its been added in the last week, i don't think the sierra army depot has one. You can still try to route power to it, seemingly allows you to, but still no terminal.

No unless they are a part of the gang, a member will still have to bring the "friendly" player to the base.  Thats what happened to me when Corosive "invited" me.  I think invite and friend is only for when mercs are defending base, it marks a "friend" or "invite" as friendly or neutral.

Once a character is made a Friend, they have to be escorted to the base once.

Then they know where it is and can see it on the World Map.
