Hi everybody! Me and my brother like to play this game. And we used to play through one cable connection, i mean there are 2 computers: one is host and second is connected to the host and get its internet connection through the host. Im not so strong in all this computer-net-IP stuff so here is a question: is there possibility of get banned? couldnt it be considered as bot, i mean when my brother and i are playing both at the same time? since we dont use separete cabels maybe it may be permited..) it would be better to get official explanation) thx anyway)

well I know they definetly don't ban i.p's, they stick alt abusers and other game breakers characters in a jai. Given the situation and the fact that the game is a beta of a mod i dont think you have to worry to much. Its just like a friend bringing over a laptop and playing the game at the same time as you.l

well i had the same thoughts) however it would be sad to have one of our char jailed since we used same IP(or not the same?o_O))

From what i know, they don't just put people in jail without checking if you really are an alt abuser. So i guess, you don't have to worry about that. But then again - im just guessing.

FOnline: 2238 is not a mod, it's a own game.

And yes, we don't just ban people based on their IP. This would never work good.

oops sorry, i thought it was a mod of the fallout 2 engine, i thought thats why you guys were doing the mod db thing with the voting.

We are as indie game on moddb, not as mod.

you can make 50 if u like you just cant be on them all at once
