Energy weapons? Why so limited... why so forgotten

1 of my caracter is EE lvl 3,and it suks,that is why i made an alt:BG crafter,becoze BG are the only "decent" wepons:high dmg,medium-high range...
small guns aren't good,only the lvl 3 crafteble are relatively "decent",good range(sniper rifle) or good dmg(P90) or medium dmg/range(pancar jackhammer)
and energy wepons?they are rare becoze they SUCK:no 1 whant's them becoze the ammo is a pain in the ass to make(MFC)and to make a relatively good 1 you need the MFC(plasma pistol needs 2 MFC),so,hgard to make and the a pain in the ass to use
the only goot thing for the EE lvl 3 is that it can make mega power fists and rippers:for unarmed/melle caracters/slaves/mercks,but for personal use???????????????

so,make the EE profesion worth!!!!
