Restrict insta kills to players that have the better critical perk

Even thats wrong. An extreme multiplier like 6x would have the same effect most of the times in PvP, but still wouldnt kill a centaur, etc. So even if it extreme, i vote for 6x multiplier with 101+ rolls(only achievable with better criticals) instead of instakills.

I like it because it makes flavour weapons like throwing knife viable, 6x on 12 dmg isn't enough to make it playable. Plus 13% max chance per shot (unless you us unarmed) still makes it a rare enough occurrence that it isn't OP. I say we keep it just because you can only do it with a specific build and that build still doesn't compare to a burst smg/mini build. The addition of chance is nice because in fonline, like in life, nothing is ever certain.

Its not a question of liking, but rather an issue of balance. Dont take it the wrong way, i respect your opinion, but in this case, this "feature" is a potential gamebreaker.
Imagine the scenario: Some mutant forgot to close the door to the masters bunker. A mosquito entered the bunker at night, and decided to have a snack. Master was critically "stinged" for 99999999 damage to the eye. A few days later the Vault Dweller arrives armed to the teeth to end the tyranny, and finds the Master dead. Game Over.
Lethal BB guns against APA MKII is just wrong. Sure, low chance, and only a few selected individuals(better criticals) could achieve kills with it, but even the slightest of chance means huge differences in RPGs. Players grind days, weeks just to get a 1% damage increase in some games. And im saying this as a current unarmed fighter not a BG, if anyone needs boost, then its HtH. But not this way. Besides aimed throwing knife to the eye blinding the opponent, knocking him out and doing 68 damage bypassing armor is quite a nice effect imo.
OR, it WOULD be plausable, if there was a "resilience" stat like in wow, that decreases chance to critically hit/decreases crit effectiveness. This way, players could at least take countermeasures against killer crits.

You say it's a balance problem but I don't think it is. It gives a viable alternative to bursting, which otherwise is the only real combat choice. Energy weapons either suck or have ammo that are a huge pain to make, unarmed is a joke, small guns is based around the p90 and miniguns were the main choice (although apparently they've been nerfed). Without instakills there is nothing to balance against. Also wow has some of the most bland pvp you could hope to find anywhere, grinding for weeks for a 1% bonus you'll barely notice is boring as shit. Having an element of chance adds excitement to the game. Also your mosquito thing is pretty irrelevant, I'm talking about players here.

Instant kills should be just RARE. I mean, for a crit sniper there should be a tiny chance to score a critical hit, even if he scored critical straight into the eyes. I mean making instakills sth that makes you say "WHOA I'm a luckbox!" (and his target: "Fuck, I'm so unlucky :((( "). In my opinion, no more than 1-2% of all eye-crits should cause an instakill.
