Seems everyone has it's "omg that freakin stalker" stories... I was killed twice very rough by these critters,
one time they knocked my out, one time instakill. So guess what i do now, i don't go into close combat with them!

You should try to do the same. Guys don't cry about them, we have already enough strong enemies who are actually
more a joke. Like endless walker and cents. The stalkers should stay as they are now, just watch a bit out guys....

Fighting them in Real Time, even lags can't bother you, you can even go to kitchen make some food and return, and you'll see him crawling to you, then just shot his eyes one time, and 2nd shot on his laying body to end him, to get your 450 XP. One of the easiest way to get XP now.

I seem to find alot of David Carradine's pet Kung Fu ants with amazing jumping abilities.Somehow they always manage to make me drop my gun with jump kicks and flying mandibles.Desert Stalkers like to deal deadly 4hp knockout crits to my legs.

I like them the way they are. Maybe knockdowns are a bit high (because they do poison and injur like crazy). We need more difficult creatures in the game. It's more challenging like that.

But the injury these guys incur is incredible. Only takes a few hits for cripples. Knockdowns and knockouts occur wayyyy too often for any melee creature though. I think it needs to be slightly decreased across the board. But it's my opinion. Get stonewall.

Once again man, wasteland is harsh, and you should always hunt with at least one other person.

Desert Stalker isn't that tough - three bursts from Combat Shotgun did the job, without critical hits. My char has 1% critical chance, I see criticals rarely than empty NCR's Bazaar :>

Wasteland is harsh - CA + good gun doesn't make you magically immortal.
