I would like to see STEN gun in FOnline, he could be avialable on lvl2 gunsmith,mats maybe equal to smg, and ammo 9mm ball,that wil make 9mm ammo usefull.
BTW that was easy to make and reliable sub mashine gun and implementing it in game probably would not be a big problem(thats what I am thinking) he was in fallout tactics and I sen it in f2 mod Vintage weapons.
also adding katana to crafting table would be nice,requirements for example 150% meele skil,5 good mp,3 metal parts, 1 wood,1 fire geckon pelt,5 fibers.

Well there is this big change to 3d coming so I guess that modeling these weapons should not be a problem. But I guess the devs would like to keep the tools of destruiction as close to original f2 and f1 as it is possible.  I do like the idea of implementing Sten into this post-apocalyptia. It was one of the most easy to make weapons. And just as reliable as AK-47.

my point is sten is easier to make than for example assult rifle(in real life i mean) and it was in fallout tactics,and vintage weapons mod for fallout2, and bringing him to FOnline would make some use for 9mm ammo.
btw katana (or even wakizashi which was in original fallout2) would balance meele weapons,there is no much to craft in this area.And  I am not saying it would be easy to craft 150 meele thats prety high requirements
I know thats wishfull thinking,but thats only a SUGESTION so maybe somebody from devs would consider that, if not now maybe later onbut game would not lose its balance from addnig 2 more weapons,or maybe some weapons could be crafted after completing quest and obtaining plans,something like in f3

please, don't tell me you're serious, a broadsword would take down a katana any day when in the middle ages, the folding process that the smiths used was used to mainly strengthen the weapon to acceptable terms due to the crappy materials they had just so that the samurai would have a reasonably sturdy sword, and that's why europe kicks ass.

prove me wrong, simple as that, aside from that a knight would be able to kill off a samurai because of the superior armour they own, not to mention the shield, which can be used as a weapon as well as protection from the yumi (japanese longbow)

But that don't mean, that they were only sharp stick. There was different technique in creating swords, giving them more power. And what I heard, that unquality iron ore is one of urban myths and it's not so correct.

Fuckyes, the postapocalyptic katana would balance the PA out, since it's made from adamantium, ROFL.
But actually, by editing sledgehammer frames, you could get decent sword animations.
But fat chances with that - 2238 doesn't need frame artists anymore, am i right?

You can't add new weapons, because devs want 2238 be as falloutish as possible. And that also means no robot crafting, no cyborgs, no asian culture references if they don't like it. Because it's their game, they even pay money for it and they won't comply to requests of sole people, (moreso if the request don't get effusive DO WANT of users) but of those of the community as the developers see fit in.

That's my humble opinion.
