I would love to see the faction news option in the terminal have an option to leave memos for other players of the faction to see. A mail style system to individuals could be handy too, but for now, a general message to all faction members would be great.

Lets say we have players from different countrys in our faction (which most of us do) and they play at different times of the day, we sometimes dont get to see them, to ask about getting specific items gathered or crafted. All we would need to do is write a little memo in the Faction News section about the items we need, or even events we may like to attend. Every day when you get on, check the faction news, and your up to date on what has happened, or will be happening that day.

Maybe it could even be separate from the terminal, as Friends of the faction can not use the terminal to see the news, but are often just as important as the actual members.

Its nice idea, I would like to have a lot more use out of the base terminal. But I guess you could use the holo-disk for the same thing. Tho I never seen one. Pose to be able put text on them.

That adds a nice question to me (as I too don't haven't seen a single holodisk out there)... Could you craft those? Or how to obtain them?

Excellent suggestion. I was thinking almost the same thing. And we have started using a holodisk for our base messages to each other, but it is not perfect since as already pointed out they are pretty rare to find. I got one from NPC trader. And having more than one might get a little complicated. And having just one and rerecording over old messages could lead to some missing a message. What would be really cool is if the computer's radio channel could actually be used to send a message out to all faction members but one that is recieved not by radios but by their PipBoys so that we could just open up our PipBoy when we log in, no matter where we are in game, and check the Base radio broadcast messages that it recorded while we were off.

if holodisk can be downloaded to pipboy it sure should be uploadable to faction terminals. I guess member list should be also downloadable to your pipboy.
