So lags are only in PvP? Good to know, I'm not playing that way.

But hey, why lags concerns my char as well? And any other people I know? Strange.
Lags aren't only in PvP, I don't mind lags in PvP now, I don't like lags when I'm trying pick up plant, but I must repeat click 5-6 times, same thing with mining and junk...

Hello everybody. I am opening this topic because of unplayable game lag. Before about 2 weeks everything was fine. I am from Bulgaria and I am playing FOnline from two cities in my country. Both my places have fiber optics and I have very fast connection to Internet - from my home - about 50Mbps downlink / 35Mbps uplink(where I am playing weekends from) and from my workplace which I am at at the most time - symmetric 100Mbps connection to internet. My question is - are there any changes in the server or there are just too many clients playing at each time, because as I said, before 2 weeks everything was playing very smooth - i had no more than 150msec lag. Now I have over 2 seconds lag - I mean, if I am in NCR and I am at the bazar, click down to the workbench in the garage, the lag could reach up to 10 seconds - in cities is not problem but in encounters in the wastes...
Is there any fix for the client or it serverside problem like ... not enough bandwidth?

Hey - how much do you pay for your internet connection monthly? ( considering moving to Bulgaria )

As for the topic:
I did many incredible things thanks to this - check it out:
I menaged to be faster than light
Overtaken my line of sight
Teleported on world map

So maybe this isn't such bad at all ...

And seriously don't worry everybody hates lags ( gm's too I hope )

Secret lag-making machine!

1 - lags being prepared
2 - lags being noticed by people with low-speed connection
3 - lags being noticed by people with high-speed connection

Internet access here became very cheap with the years, in 2004 for my home connection I was paying about $20 for 8KBps (64kbps)
For the 100mbps connection pays the company I work for, but it is relatively cheap - $70. For my home connection now - $20 :)

They have new model now, they can crash and rollback the sever instantly with out preparing lags before :)

turn off the lag generator please.. Game kicks me out literally every 5 minutes. What is the cause of these lags? Bad/cheap server or something else :\?

There is a memory leak at the server files IIRC, they're working on it. ;)

We're doing server updates and fixes to try make it more stable. There was already some success. But it's too early to say if it's totally solved.

oooo surf. gratz on becoming a global mod. And thank you for the answer. I hope they fix it soon.

I'm trying the quests at the moment. Ah it's been a long time since I played. I must say I like the changes so far(encounters, gathering, Starting location). Also I'm enjoying the quests :]
