How can I let people join

I have the server set up and running but I do not know how to get my friend to connect. We're using the reloaded assets and he has my Ip and port on the connect to thingy.

Please help someone who is very not computer literate

I dont think so but you can try with hamachi. It should work if your friends have ip and port.

on Windows XP the only thing you need to do is add the exception on the windows firewall and thats all, or at least that work when i put my server online to play with some friends ( using the fonline 2238 release ).

I am on 7, he is on xp. He's not in the network list for some reason. Is that why localhost is a no go?

Your friend must set your IP and port which server uses. It should work fine and without any problems.

Okay so I can join and register a character and play fine but when he tries to pull anything up it is a login screen with a bunch of errors. I tried using his fallout2238config to make sure he had his assets but it would not open. It says unable to find runtime for this object
