Banks should hold ur stuff too

banks should be keep your valuable stuff too (wıth some caps ofcourse)
and banks must be a corporation like u depositing your caps at ncr and u can use it at hub

I also feel that you should be able to have a personalized locker or something where you can store stuff, that can be easily accesible from like hub, san fran, vaullt city   ... but i havent heard of these "tents", where how and what? =) and is your stuff safe there?

You get a tent when you use science skill on 10 bramin hides. Do that in an encounter anywhere on the world map and you'll get your own little place.

It's a stashing place for anything you care for, it's also the first step before buying a base with friends.

But sometimes it's hard for new players to gather these 10 hides, so a personal locker might be a good idea.

There are hotel rooms in town, but you need some caps.


edit ;  oh and your stuff is safe in a tent, as long as you don't bring people you can't trust in it. It'll disappear if you don't visit it for 4 weeks, and if you have people tagging you at time of creation, they will see it on world map as well.

That's an interesting problem. I think it only works when they stand next to you when you create it?

yes they have to tag you and stand next to you.

I don't really think people get tagged and fucked with random people seeing their tent; I was just adding this to show how cool tents are, since they can be shared with friends.

That sounds really awesome. If you are a few, you can scramble to get the ten pieces and create it "together"... How much science is needed?

No requirement, you just need to use it. Players needs to be in same encounter as you and have you tagged to make it so that when the tent is created, it will show up for them too.

I guess that by tag you mean the "arrow pointing at three people"-icon ingame? ("follow-mode").. a bit OT, but is there a list to what each icon actually does? especially the ones that seems to be about "good" or "bad".

well now that we're off-topic...

good and bad change the person's name color (they show when you press F6, by the way) to respectively green and red. It doesnt happen instantly, a quick log-out log-in should do the trick.

It actually tweaks the Namecolorizing.txt file in Fonline folder. You might want to have a quick look at it someday.

Why not get pawn shops? You trade in your stuff for a certain amount of caps which you then can put in bank, or keep. And if you don´t reclaim your stuff and repay the money within a certain period you lose the stuff. The amount of caps you get for the stuff in pawn shop should be lower than what you could get from a trader...

Well, maybe not banks, but another place that acts like a "storage institute" where you can rent lockers would be nice.  I think renting rooms at inns works in this kind of fashion already, though.

Many factions or even players would be more than happy to flood the pawn shop with assault rifles or other craftable items even for 200 a piece if that allowed them to get instant cash always.
