well, it would be really sad, if this would have happened some time ago, now i somehow just dont give a fuck just still up till now, 2238 was the only server which i played, so i guess i will need to look somewhere else to settle and troll and all
As for devs, especially some of them: if you are creating game for players, you have to listen to them, or else we have this

I have a small question - is it due to financial reasons or personal?
If it was only about finance - would be needed to make the game work such as the end of the year?
If not money, so in that case, thank you for everything, it was lovely four years.

It's a shame to see you guys go. I haven't posted here or played 2238 for over a year. And I have to admit that I play TLA now because I think it simply has more content. But when I did play 2238 I had a great time.
What made 2238 good is that it was unique, you guys didnt want to copy TLA, you guys wanted something of your own. I applaud you guys for that, because you guys did one hell of a fine job for quite some time. 

Yet things come and go. And now it's time for 2238 to move on.

It was a fun ride, I wish the devs and the playerbase the best of luck.

yeah honestly it was my fav game for a long time. but after it became single player game it wasnt that fun at all. shame, just shame to see what is going on with this game. was fun till it was multiplayer.
