how the hell is adding more guns to the already unbalanced existing ones could cause an even bigger variety of characters? this crap doesn't even make sense.

how is never balancing the current weapons going to make the game better?
play on other servers and then come back to this game and realize that the variety of weapons and builds are so low that its pathetic. Add new weapons adds the benefit of making new builds to be specialized in a weapon. for example making a build specialized in using a grenade launcher.

The current selection of weapons will never be "Balanced", whether or not something is balanced is an opinion that is different for every person. That's why it's a stupid argument, because it's impossible. Make some of you happy, the others will complain. Make them happy, others will complain. Make them happy... yeah, there's no pleasing you guys.
However - it would take less than 30 minutes to add a 9mm SMG and fit it into the game world, and has already been pointed out would in no way negatively effect (in reality, or your perception) the "balance" of currently existing weapons.
All that would happen is there would be mass complaining that Dev's are "wasting their time", instead of making you happy.
So, plus fucking one to this suggestion. This is why I suggested it a while back...

I think, there are so many more priority than adding a 9mm smg, for example increase laser, but yes, more weapon needed (don"t cry bla bla unbalanced, it's a beta, so it mean things need to be tested !)
