I was simply correcting T888's interpretation of the graph; (s)he thought it spanned 3 days when it spanned three months. Why would you have so many data points for an "average number of players per day" for 3 days, and why would a graph for 3 days in January be relevant?

The *censored* server brought me a lot of fun just in the starting location, You can sense the classic feeling of old Fallouts, not just "wasteland is harsh" meme.
You can die there by chosing wrong dialogue, or doing some crazy things.
It was like 12 -14 quests I've done in the first location, and those weren't all quests...
Just a great work of their DEVs can be appreticed, and they know what to bring to Fallout player.
Well... 2238, is doing good in updates but recently having drastic nerfes and unlogical "fixes" makes it harder to start playing PVP by smaller gangs, and just making those old ones angry, by making them no enemies in the first place.
I guess you should change not only the way you update the game, but write a concept what you do, not some random thingies you add to the game, from time to time.

I didn't forget anything, I posted full chart before and it's irrelevant, at least it seems to me that he meant the very present time not some 2009. But since I already started spamming with charts, here is another interesting one with a little longer period - cumulative average number of players (for a whole day) on 4 most popular FOnline servers:

As you can see there is a small dent, probably due to TLA Mk2 update, in other servers (but mostly Russian ones, in 2238 it's not really visible so far). More important is that it seems that the fact that TLA Mk2 got better, it's bringing (back) more people to FOnline in general, not really much cannibalizing on other servers. I always though the more good servers the better, and there you go.

And from +- the last year (TLA/Goons data wasn't collected before):

It seems that even if servers are down or turn bad/crash often and people quit them, transfers to other servers just don't happen on a large scale. People just... leave. Some hardcore players switch, but most people rather go play LoL, WoW or whatever else people play now, than another FOnline server they aren't used to.

So Glumer, cool beans that you have good fun on TLA, but maybe you should write "Go on another server like me" But better not in changelog threads, they aren't for this.

Not only me, all Evil Butchers, The No Ways, Tandi Secret Lovers, seems like old bbs moving too. Sots are there so like Jacky said there make NCR server.

There is edit by me, because I split the "omg go other servar" post from changelog to separate thread and changed the title, so it's clear where it came from. His post wasn't changed. Oh, I also made a new section for other projects in Offtopic, so people can find and discuss them easier. So yea, censorship is rampant. You can discuss the things you want in appropriate sections, spamming in changelogs won't be tolerated, because they are for update feedback. If you aren't interested in it, don't post there.
