i prefer 2238 than tla or requiem but now it is crap for me, no fun no goal.

I think,this session is too long, so we have nothing other to do as pvp. Now we have all what we need so no interest to farm or craft. Not all players just play for pvp, and like killer rabbit said, wipe will bring people...A lot of players stop to play because the're is not much people on the server.

On the other side of the coin, if major devs decide they are done improving the server, or have no time to implement them, which give us no update/changelog, for 5 or 10 years, would they just wipe the server for the sake of wiping ? Do we need a wipe every year, or would we finally get a durable server, with no wipe ?
Wipe can attract players. But i also get that new player maybe afraid of investing their time in characters and bases, if they know it will disapear anyway. Especially if they are casual and may suffer wipe before obtaining what they need (or fulfill their goal)
Also, the post-wipe vibe has almost disapeared, as big gangs have everything (bases, high-tier stuff, lvl 24 char, etc...) within a week, and small gangs are forced to catch up quickly if they want to play in the same ground. A way around would be to nerf technology/level the first few month to keep the post-wipe vibe.
Otherwise, let's not wipe if not for big changes.
