you dont need to multi log for that, so i dont see the "cheating" part

Yeah... You can do that by leaving your alts together, then logging into all of them, then buy the base before your 3min is up. There is no other way to get a faction ready for bases and according to the game rules, it is not cheating. Otherwise you are shit-outa-luck man.

It's not cheating because you do not have two characters logged in at the same time; two are logged off but still in-game because of the 3 minute logging-out timer.

Severa l times a day, ussuslly in NCR. Worste place in the world to leave a char unprotected, good thing I'm not (ussually) a piquer or THEIF.

I hadn't thout about that. Admitedly I really hadn't thought about the rule at all, I just accepted it at face value.
