Hilarious Fallout 2238 Review by NMA.
« on: March 02, 2013, 03:07:28 am »

http://www.nma-fallout.com/article.php?id=58364

"I am new here." became "me is new herr" and the only response was being ignored or laughed at by the other PCs. I had never felt so alone in a multiplayer game.

Me harr lauffing at n00b.

Olde but still good.

Someone should do a new one.

But the older review will attract more players.

I was in an encounter with neutral merchants. I was just about to leave when another player appeared a few paces in front of me. Since there was no combat with critters neither of us were weakened or busy. I noticed he was armed. Certainly that could mean he came to kill. However I was armed too, to respond to such an eventuality. Of course I appeared the same way to him. Neither of us made a move. I waiting to see what he was doing, while he was probably using Awareness to check my weapon and health. Neither of us spoke. Then the other guy spoke. "It's cool man" he said. I dropped my shoulders in relief. We spoke to one another for a few minutes about how rare it was to meet someone who wasn't antagonistic. We parted on friendly terms. A shame since I actually do wonder what he had on him. Perhaps this is the temptation of going PvP.

If you haven't experienced this, you can't call yourself a fonline player.

Based on evidence collected from various sources by trustworthy attendees it is undisputed veritability that the land ravaged by atomic warfare which caused extreme change of the ecosystem and environmental hazards can be considered unpleasant, rugged and unforgiving.

"I went to the nearest merchant. As I stood there, waiting for another PC to finish talking to the merchant, another guy walked up behind me. When I opened the barter screen, items began to dissappear as they were put up. At the same time the tell-tale "use on" animation was being activated by the PC behind me onto me. I was being robbed"

hahahahahah, wasteland is harsh!!

Someone Necro-ed the post on NMA to give it a bad here-say. So I intend on making an article with some fancy pictures. Obliviously the game has changed since the last review was done quite a bit ago, and I don't think we need any more bad publicity than we have. :P

Who gives a fuck about NMA anyway... They're all pseudo-intellectual angry nerds who just complain that Fallout 3 is shit all day while making Fallout 2 models that never actually go in-game.

Come to think of... I think they would love T888.

For some people it takes more than for other to get into the reality of gaming. Survival instincts malfunction.

Yeah but they were the guys who first came about with game guides and discussed lore content way before wiki was around. They are the original fallout fan base. If its anything that ruins this game is the stupid obnoxious trolling and the whining community that makes people want to quit. 2238 is a secret competition of who can be the biggest jackass on the internet.

They did a lot more than just make models they used to have written articles of interviews they did with the original developers of fallout 1/2 and it was the best fan website around. These guys actually did a lot and kept the series alive. Fallout is a cult classic, they are the cult.

Not only do you disrespect hours upon hours of work that was put into critter editing like you mentionend, you also fail to realize that NMA was mostly the community the very first devs got to know each other and founded the very idea of FOnline:2238 back then.

Poka.

Brujah, you seriously offended me by offending NMA. What will you say next, that Fallout 3 from Bethesda was the best game ever and 1 and 2 sucked balls because of "shitty" graphics?
