I remember getting this game along with it's power version and pokemon crystal, I don't know why but I always loved this game much more than the original pokemon as a kid... Even though the translation is total crap for being a massive copy/pasta of a cheap japanese/english translator.

I always loved the "evolution" system too, all you had to do was give your electric monster a rocket launcher or something like that:

Plus the soundtrack was fucking awesome... Did anyone else play this game?
