I just installed the game and uploaded the critter.dat and Master.Dat but it will not let me connect to updater so i cannot play

Delete everything but updater, then start update and download everything.

Of course, updater requires config file to work. You shouldn't listen to him

Yes, I have the master and critter.dat in correctly i have installed the system 1 thing to make it so no grey screen pops up. It still just wont let me connect to updater

Try checking the IP
It's supposed to be 176.9.105.171

I humbly apologise for inconvenience, Magnum. I still use old updater, which works without config.

Also, Jovanka is right, there are people on forums who doesnt deserve your attention. Especially the overly arrogant ones. Have fun meeting them!

i guess the updater.exe from MOB downloading files is not working. GM needs to update it.
