Special Encounter -- Is it a bug?

I always thought that this is caused by dissapearing of that encounter. It was an encounter with a player, but he left before you could join and the whole encounter was closed. But i might be wrong. And maybe this wouldnt work for SE anyway.

Well, there are two types of encounter glitches. The first is what you just described with another player and the lightning just keeps flashing. The second is when it says, for example, "You encounter: Molerats" but it lagged or something right as you were about to go into the encounter and it ends up just skipping the Molerats encounter. The latter sounds very similar to topic's problem.

Come on, its just a special encounter, you will find another one.
