I've been working on a chess board for about a week now, and its turning out pretty nicely. I'm hand carving oak and treated oak pieces for the board also. The pawns are rats, the Rooks are dogs, the knights are Brahmin, the bishops are mantis (These aren't shaping up so well), the queens are Wanamingos (And they are pretty kick-a** if I do say so), And I'm still deciding what to make the kings. I think King Ra'at would be fairly easy but less interesting, But a deathclaw is gonna be hard to detail, yet more eye catching. Suggestions? I'll put a picture up when its totally finished.

Maybe they aren't creatures, but hey, they are Fallout and are both pretty badass.

I was going to do humans, but it takes a lot of wood for good detail and also, I already started with only animals. Maybe I'll make a better one when I'm finished and I'll use humans. MAYBE. lol

No, better! Floater or centaur! They require quite a bit of detail, but it would look awesome, I'm fairly sure about that.

Cool idea bud, maybe if you progress to humans you could make knights Brotherhood Paladins or Enclave Soldiers in Advanced Power Armor, Pawns could be Brotherhood in welll... brotherhood armor and Enclave Light Infantry in Combat Armor ey? Hope to see a screenshot soon.
