This what I suggest because they're are probably other things you will have trouble downloading, too.

faction.zip by itself: http://fonline2238.net/update/data/faction.zip Put it in data folder.

It wouldn't be FOnline if making client run wouldn't be PITA every now and then.

Get this client: http://fodev.net/forum/index.php/topic,22146.0.html

Put it in clean folder.
Set up paths to master/critter and run updater. Everything should run as it should.

Yeah it works "fine", because it's the same client, it's just not configured by default
the way it should be IMO. If it really worked fine there wouldn't be any error messages.

Default host is localhost. Pressing enter wont help in that case.
Also it doesn't have the new updater configured properly.
That's two biggest problems.

I prepared the client to avoid answering same "trivial" problems over and over.

OK OK I see what happened here. An attention whore needed some attention.

Any normal person that isn't 100% insane, would not tell everyone on the internet about their personal lives in that much detail. As a matter of fact, they probably wouldn't even be on the internet, due to the mourning of their mother, or due to their "abusive father" being cruel to them. Also, If you "have" to live with your "abusive" dad, then that must mean your a minor, and the Jail story is a lie, that is of course, unless your referring to the DH.

If you did indeed face the possibility of jail time, then you must have done something pretty bad to be tried as an adult. In that case, you would deserve some time AND probation.

If it was the DH, then you must have had several offenses, because they don't put you in first time unless its a serious crime, therefore, you are deserving in this scenario as well. (Trust me, I know what I'm talking about. I've been in several times in my life.) In either case, the hammer falls on YOU.
