Is it not better then having 20 tents and people logging and relogging constantly as well as dual logging?  If I had tons of alts
I'd rather switch items between a joint storage more then keep dozens of tents or anything.

Money sinks are fairly important too even minor ones, and this could encourage more player on player trading if items were easier to access.
And when more players interact with each other the stronger a community is no?

I'd like to suggest hidden stashes.
You may need a brahmin hide and a shovel - you can build a number of them anywhere in the Wasteland, but mind that people with high Outdoor would be able to find it. And there would be specialists of course.

Also, the effectiveness of your hidden stash would also depend on Outdoor.

You still can do that without shovel, brahmin skin or shit.

Once I've put 5000 caps in shelves (when I've bored to play) and started to shout at Hub "I HIDEN 5K CAPS IN SHELVES AT HOUSE NEAR ENTRANCE AT OLDTOWN LOCATION!!!!111" and what? In a week, when I wanted to see what is Brotherhood of Steel, I crafted by one of test alts (this one alt, who has only 1 perk on 8th level) and droped 200 5mm AP at Hub behind any wall, then I created a character with 6 CH, moved him to Hub, took that 5mm AP, and then... checked shevles... and there 5k caps..., I bet, if you put something at Necropolise/Cathedral/San Francisco behind any wall, it'll lay there for ages.

Unless you're really unlucky and somebody finds your stash during that 10 minutes or use this information to know where to seek. But there's always possible to increase your luck during early morning hours, when the area is safe.

And, as I said, it was Hub... You can put your stash at any dead town, where's alot walls, crates, shelves, etc. You can even put in NCR, because nobody will seek stashes there.

Btw, the best way to steal alt-to-main stashes is... watch Town Preview all the time ^_^ If you see bluesuiter with name <Someone's Name>-SG, or SG-Droid, SG-Slave, Armorer, Smith, etc. just watch in what direction he run, and then start look every container and every wall/room, may be you can find something.
