Gaming in FOnline is abit pointless at all, items cant be used in life, you cant smell desert and etc.
I m not Albert E. to add 400 suggestions to improve gameplay :D
But if improve in this game ideas from other online games with 7+ years expierence and 200+K online know something about gaming, maybe even more than FOnline devs and theyr own players, i know nothing about gaming, maybe not more. Just rob this companies and increase fonline population/quality

I'm just trying to talk about the feature.

And I don't see much point in such item if it can't be traded and there is no point to store it for later use, the
best thing to do it is to apply it immediately on level 24. So why make this feature in form of an item at all.

In FO2 was book when you end game, imagine - you kill all at oil rig, save village - exit oil rig - you obtain 300/300/300 and 99lvl - borring.
add book.

I have been playing online games for 12+ years, I know something about gaming and that these ideas of yours are all cliche and nothing new and why I get sick of every "new" online rpg and mmos being a cookie cutter of mmos like everquest and diablo1/2. They didn't rob anything they have permission to "mod" fallout1/2 and they don't do this for finacial gain, they just ask for help paying the server farm bill.

They don't give a shit about popularity of this game, and neither do we as the hardcore players. Popular games suck they are all the same, now "popular" is stupid remakes of games with dumb downed interfaces and requires no thinking at all and are way too easy. I don't know if you realize this yet but this is mainly a PvP game where people gather up factions to take towns fight in them and hold them that is the centralization of this game. The leveling crafting farming is just steps taken to achieve the goal of getting good gear to kill other players with.

Most of the time I disagree with jovanka but she is right there is no point in reading a book when getting level 24, just get the extra 60 skill points is a better idea. Plus stupid shit happends in this game you reach level 24 then get toasted by a fire gecko there goes the book.

Script of gaining exp
Code: [Select]
gain exp
if exp => required for level up
 false - end script
positive - give SP based on INT
end script
  if level = 24
false - give SP based on INT
positive - give SP based on INT + 60 SP
message "You are a true veteran, your experience serves you well. Added 60 skill points"
end script

Sometimes I feel I shouldn't pretend I understand something of scripting or coding...
Really, essentially this suggestion actually might be useful, it alleviates the problem of alting, by giving 60 more SP, which one may or may not use for his primary skills, but it doesn't change the fact, that your character has become less braindead.

Your right, you shouldn't....
Seriously though, I'm sure this is your attempt at "Pseudocode" but the "code" you provided wouldn't function properly the way you intended it to (it would continually add 60 bonus sp's every time you gained experience at level 24, not exactly the side effect your looking for).
You should nest the second conditional (the "if:then" construct) inside the positive condition of the first conditional, as well as increment the level in there as well.

It's all really about suppression of dissension, consensus through censorship.  Whether through extermination of those who have different or conflicting viewpoints or subtle spin of available media.  If there is only one opinion left, it must be right, right?

Is not such a bad idea really, but why book? It's better to get them instantly at level 24.

You're right, you shouldn't....
Haha, I made up the "script" in a matter of seconds, let's not even get started about the fact that I have never even coded or scripted anything ever. Then there's this thing, that it checks if you gain a level up, gives you SP for Int bonus then checks for level 24 and gives you the INT bonus again. Another possibility would be just adding a another "if" parameter right at the start of the script, to check if the player has already gained level 24 and therefore shouldn't be allowed to gain any more experience. Please, devs, don't script shit like I do. That would make the game enjoyable...
