Sidecar bike.
« on: August 22, 2012, 04:50:20 pm »

Remember that bike i posted when i joined the forums? I made a vehicle replacement mod, the bike replaces Buggy from Tactics to the bike from...erhm, nevermind.

Well at least, it has a sidecar and i hope you enjoy it.

As usual, create a "data/art/items" and drop the files from the archive there.

The size doesn't seem correct. It is pretty huge and I still think the perspective is somewhat wrong.

Not gonna change, it's fine as it is.

Well, it's just a suggestion. Compare the men with the motorcycle, no normal bike is so huge. He can't even sit on it without spreading his legs like a madmen.

See, i don't disregard critique, Lexx.

It's just a adequate deal of work i try to invest in my hobby. I don't even call it work of art, since i'm not a artist who makes money with it.
So i make something that looks adequate and not completely crap. When i think it's good, i post it and stop caring about it and when someone like it like CyberJesus, it's good, it's finished, there's not anything to polish out, since it's pointless to please everyone.

How can you be so sure it's a bike for men?

Perspective looks OK to me, definitely better than in Fallout Tactics cars that are used in game now.

It looks big, but I know nothing about motorbikes sizes and the sidecar makes it look bigger as well.

Shadow on ground seems wrong though.

Overall very nice job.

Lexx is right about the size, it's slightly too large, but nothing to moan about. Just look how small humvee is ingame.

Because he placed a man right next to it.

Dancing poles have several men next to them, that doesn't mean it was made for men.

Ok...
I admit the bike to be taken from NV - but in NV, the bikes are supposed to look bulky and bloated up - the sidecar just adds to this impression.

As for dimensions... I think i'll do something during the day...

In fact, they are unisex.
