FODE: old stuff to share
« on: August 22, 2012, 10:27:02 am »
Guess it's time to release the old stuff I've done for Fonline Desert Europe.
You are free to use it if you want.

Note:

I made the stuff below (Intro video and sceneries) for the first concept of Fonline Desert Europe.
To sum up:

1 - People choose one side at beginning : NEC or ULS
2 - Spawn in London or Moscow in consequence
3 - lvl up in Great Britain or in Moscow area until lvl 11 (lvl max 11 in those zones)
4 - Pass through the sea or the Death Belt (to cross the limits, they must enlist in the army of their country=> they are then put in a train or in a boat and can't come back: one-way road to war)
5 - Their mission is to conquer Berlin district by disctrict before the ennemy does.
6 - Once Berlin center conquered, they have access to high technology.
7 - They have to crush the enemy.
8 (optional) - Reset server when one side has conquered all territory

NEC have robots to help them and ULS super mutants.

Map (made by Kinkin):

Thanks. Painting and intro looks great. Also the game concept is interesting.
Was it changed? Is the project still in development in some form?

Awesome art as usual, Cryofluid. I had seen the scenery in older screenshots and I personally think some of it (the ruined famous buildings) didn't fit with the rest of the map, but the junk piles and swam thingies are truly nice. And I liked he intro video a lot, some really cool escenes in there.

The rubble looks good.
Based on evidence collected from various sources by trustworthy attendees it is undisputed veritability that the land ravaged by atomic warfare which caused extreme change of the ecosystem and environmental hazards can be considered unpleasant, rugged and unforgiving.

Art looks pro, no doubt.

Will we have models from each army though?
