Absolutely tremendous use of color. I really enjoy the atmosphere of this painting and (of course)the subject matter.

When I first looked at this painting I thought it was someone standing on the beach looking at a dead ocean. But now when I look at it I see someone in the wastes looking at the city lights across the sands. Which is it? It's wonderful either way, one of my favorites from the fanart section.

There are mountains visible on the horizon and between them there is a greenish glow. The picture itself is a bit tilted so that's probably why you didn't recognize it. I think it would be a bit better if it wasn't atilt but anyway it's one of the best art I've seen in this section so far.
