What the hell are the GUARDS for?

Yea just like yesterday when I spent 3 hours gettings materials for guns and armor. Went to Junktown to train gunsmith and right in the middle there were guards basically running in place and warping back to their spot.

So I got PK'ed in the middle of town (Doc-AV the name or something) with a couple other "dangerous" people. I couldn't even tell what the hell happened but I think the guard shot me down and the pks got to loot me. Also, might I mention that I came back to see if I could get my stuff back and the pks shot me dead again. What's the point? To be an asshole? Sounds like frustrated virgins that can only get some sort of satisfaction in life by killing people in games. I'm glad I wasn't born ugly, nerdy and unfriendly.

come on man... in the middle of town?? Just disable combat in a few towns, preferably the newbie ones...but no, the game tends to the assholes.

What about thieves? You want to kill them if you be able, don't you? Disabling combat in towns, even "newbie ones" (which one are these anyway?), won't let you defend yourself from thieves and bombers.

well, got killed in Junktown?  I also did a few times...don't worry it is just a game. Don't try to understand PK's- noone does for real.
one small tip. before you go inside the town, check what's inside with town/world button, it is very usefull since you don't need to go inside :)
if you get killed... well it happens- robbers are everywhere in Postapocalyptia, the world is harsh and life here not easy too. Get used to it!

I start play yesterday. First character stuck in room with closed doors (i close them...) and noone open it for me. Shit happens all the time.
Today i start with new char. To be exacly 4 characters. Everytime I spawn first time on map I got killed and looted, one time after loading screen I was dead. Guys with powah armorz... no guards in Junktown. I get rly pissed off but this is the time when we are waiting for wipe. people start to crazy and U need to w8. And remember to be aware. Its tricky with yelling "thief" isnt it?

Your experience is a result of the prewipe crazy, as you suspect.
