You evaporate only if you are close to ground zero or in case and H bomb explodes, which bsacially ignites the air.
I guess I would go into the street and scream "Aaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrmaaaaaaaaaageeedoooooooooooonnnnn". And if that don't get me killed I would probably go on killing,rape spree then shoot myself.

Hmm I'd go visit places like area 21 and get pissed off when it turns out there never really was aliens. I would start a farm, live among surviving animals, visit landmarks and see their destruction, protect myself from suicidal killer rapists like Gob, oh and I'd try to build an airplane. I think there'd be lots of stuff to do if the radiation would be tolerable.

I don't think you would start any farms or visit any places nor build planes and protect yourself. You would shit and piss yourself at the same time while you heard the sound of the war sireens and see the mushroom clouds in the distance.

You can't escape nuclear winter. When the wind blows all the fallout in the air spreads with it. So eventually you'll get sick too. Maybe not die instantly may take a few years for the cancer to develop. Or you may get fucked up kids with 2 heads or one eyed cyclops . You know the words, cut off one head 2 more will appear ), but hey 3 heads are better than 2 right )
