Gold nuggets are next to useless and aren't used for anything except for throwing at people and decorating redding, so what if there was a feature where we could craft golden metal armor out of golden nuggets?

Why?
Gold is a good throwing projectile and you can bludgeon people with it. It's pretty much its value after the Great War.

in a game if you make something out of pure gold you expect it to be good because gold is expensive. so in game play terms it should have better stats.

Hmm why not add ebony, glass and daedric armors as well, f2238 is just a game so there's no problem in mah honest opinion.

maybe you only play 2238 where everything is backwards but in 99 percent of other games when you spend alot of money or mats you get something good.

simple reason is because devs dont have the proper animation and skins for new stuff yet and most likely never will.

Yet, metal armors of different types are added only if we have character animations for them. So, for me, suggestion just jumped into "wait for 3d" pit. Fact that yellowish armor will look horrible is another story...

Gold is actually used in spacesuit visors, to reflect infrared, red and yellow light. It is made into a thin layer which you can actually see trough.

A function it could have in 2238 is as a added bonus vs laser. MAMKll could be upgraded to something between Tesla and MAMKll?
