Since there's no Q/A thread here yet, i'll start one with a question:

Could you tell me, in which .DAT file is the train graphics located?

It's in faction.zip (which should be in the data folder) in art\items.
train01.png (with .fofrm)
train02.png (with .fofrm)

Edit:
Part of the train is in art\scenery and the files are barstow-express.png (and the .fofrm one).
